Hi,
I am Irish, a visual artist and have been living in Gaithersburg, Maryland for over ten years now. I have started this blog because I have just started a new visual arts project called “The Psychology of Smoking and Quitting”. That is, as I write this I am an habitual cigarette smoker and plan to quit the habit – forever – beginning July 9th, 2007. The purpose of this blog is document the trials and tribulations of quitting this dreadful habit and to showcase the related work that I create along the way. To ensure success, this project will last 1 year and 1 month and hopefully readers who read this blog will motivate me to remain committed to being a non-smoker!
